For more than three decades, Dr. Steve “Milo” Milowitz has taught English literature at Ramaz, bringing his trademark wit, irreverence, and love of books to the classroom. A late-blooming reader, Dr. Milowitz discovered his love of literature at 17, having spent his career sharing that passion with students. He has also served for many years as faculty advisor to The Rampage, working with students on their writing and editing. Outside the classroom, “Milo” enjoys family, books, golf, and the occasional fine cigar. He now has to share his longtime classroom, Rom 307, which is decorated with images of his 1970s television heroes and New Yorker covers, with the Rampage newsroom and podcast studio.
